Sukhi Jutla saiid, ‘It’s an honour to be recognised as a top influencer and thought leader in tech and I hope my accomplishments continue to inspire other women that a career in tech is feasible and possible no matter what stage you enter this field; it’s open to all.’’

 

The winners of these awards showcase remarkable women within the technology sector covering a wide range of roles such as Applied Machine Learning Scientist; Cyber Security Consultant; Radio Modelling Engineer; Futurist; a Research Associate in Turbomachinery; and Rapid Prototyper.

 

Since September 2018, WeAreTechWomen has been searching the UK for the best
female tech talent in the country.

 

The TechWomen100 awards are the first of their kind to focus solely on the female tech talent pipeline and to also recognise the impact of champions, companies and networks that are leading the way for the future generations of tech talent.

 

WeAreTechWomen received over 500 nominations from across the UK and Northern
Ireland and 28,000 votes of support from across the globe.

 

Winners’ will shortly receive an invitation to a prestigious awards ceremony on 31
January 2019.

MarketOrders is Interviewed on Women’s Radio Station: Smart tips on how to raise money for your business

 

 

MarketOrders co-founder & COO, Sukhi Jutla, was invited onto the Women’s Radio Station, the online radio station dedicated to women, to talk about how to raise funds for your business.

 

Sukhi continues to be a thought leader and influential voice for female founders and entrepreneurs and she talks about her journey to create MarketOrders and shares insights on her funding journey to date.

 

Sukhi was joined by female founders, Georgina Wilson-Powell from Pebble Magazine, a stylish take on sustainable living, covering food, fashion, travel and design and Winnie Mak, from One Dear World, who created a collection of multi-cultural dolls.

Our co-founder, Sukhi Jutla, was a finalist in the entrepreneur category of the AWA Awards and we celebrated the event last week with a gala dinner held in association with NatWest, the 2018 Awards were held in the presence of Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex, Her Grace The Duchess of Wellington, Tulip Siddiq MP, Baroness Amos, Director, SOAS University of London, Rachel Johnson, Journalist, Author, Lewis Lukens, Deputy Chief of Mission for the US Embassy in London and actress Amrit Maghera

 
The Asian Women of Achievement Awards, founded by Pinky Lilani CBE DL in 1999, celebrate multicultural Britain and the contribution of diverse cultures and talents to UK society. We put on a platform, the phenomenal Asian women across the UK and across industries, who are making a valuable and important contribution to British life. The awards play a key role in redefining the contribution of Asian women; and informing a new, positive, pro-diversity debate.

 
Sukhi said, ‘I feel honoured I was selected as a finalist in the entrepreneur category and I hope to use this platform to further shine a spotlight on the amazing things female founders and entrepreneurs are doing”.
